Albert Palais: The New Home Of Unity
A five star room for a five star weekend, minutes from the city. Proper bar, state of the art stage, and a floor that won’t try to kill you.
The room
In 2027, UME moves into Albert Palais, a ballroom built for exactly this kind of weekend.
You'll step on a 250 square metre dance floor in the main ballroom, with room for up to 500 people on the busiest nights. The stage runs 9 metres wide and 4 metres deep, backed by a full-length LED screen. This will be a production like you have never seen before, truly built to carry a live band and everything Unity will throw at it.
Thanks to the new arrangements, the main party now runs from 7 pm straight through to 2 am without a break to reset the room. That is 7 hours of social, unheard of in Sydney. This is the venue that Unity deserves to call home.
Getting there
Albert Palais sits in Leichhardt, about 13 minutes from the Sydney CBD by Uber or taxi, or around 10 minutes by bus. Buses stop right outside the venue, so you don't need a car to get there.
If you're driving, parking is available around the venue, plus secure parking five minutes away at Norton St Forum.
Where to stay
We don't have a partner hotel for 2027, and we're not affiliated with any accommodation provider. The venue is close enough to the city, about 10 minutes by bus, that you can genuinely stay wherever suits you, from the CBD to Leichhardt itself. There are also plenty of Airbnbs around the venue if you'd rather go that way.
