💫 What is UME?

Unity Mambo Experience is a 3-day curated training event built for intermediate and advanced mambo dancers who want real growth across their technique, their musicality, and their connection to the mambo community.

📍 Sydney, July 10–12, 2026

👑 Featuring Jennifer Tsuha (Peru) & Inwoo Choi (Korea) – two of the world’s leading Mambo artists!

🎓 10+ Hours of Progressive Workshops + Bootcamp

🎉 2 Nights of Social Dancing

🌎 A community of dedicated dancers travelling from across Australia & New Zealand — all here for the same reason you are.

Jennifer Tsuha

Jennifer Tsuha is one of the most respected Mambo On2 artists in the world — known for her razor-sharp footwork, elite technique, and a style that is as powerful as it is expressive.

Of Peruvian and Japanese descent and based in Milan, she built her professional career performing with renowned Italian dance company Tropical Gem, earned 1st place at the prestigious Salsanamá competition, and has since become a headline instructor at major congresses across Europe, the Americas, and beyond.

At UME 2026, Jennifer is bringing her full toolkit to Sydney.

She'll open Saturday with Body Movement Essentials — a deep dive into isolation, body awareness, and rhythm that underpins everything else across the weekend. Later that day she leads Social Dancing Technique: Spinning, Connection & Following, a structured partner-work session built around clean technique and real-time responsiveness. She closes the weekend on Sunday with her Signature Power Shines — a solo movement workshop in her distinctive style, merging power, expression, and technical control.

And then there's the Bootcamp. 4 hours of structured choreography training led by Jennifer personally — with video breakdowns in advance, a tech rehearsal, and a live performance on Saturday night. It's the closest you'll get to training one-on-one with one of today’s Mambo greats.

Inwoo Choi

They call him Asia's Mambo King — and once you've seen Inwoo Choi move, you'll understand why.

A 2014 IDO Korea Salsa Professional Champion and former Korean National Team member, Inwoo has spent decades mastering the precision, musicality, and power that define New York-style Mambo at its highest level. He directs Korea's elite performance teams AURA di MAMBO and Impactor in Seoul, as well as Mambo del Mar in Busan. As director of the Inwoo Latin School, he has trained a generation of dancers in technical excellence.

At UME 2026, Inwoo brings his expertise across three sessions: leading Pachanga Flow and Follow Me: Dynamic Partner Work, and co-leading Rhythms of Salsa alongside live percussionists and the Unity team.

He also joins Jennifer on Sunday afternoon for the Artist Q&A: Jennifer & Inwoo Unplugged — an open conversation about their journeys, artistic process, and what it really takes to dance at this level. One of the most anticipated sessions of the weekend.
